The Bhatias spent 15 years trying through the natural cycle and medication, but it proved futile. The couple visited several IVF centres in India and the UK, before deciding to make a last attempt at the Gaudium IVF Centre in New Delhi. Polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD), one of the most common causes of infertility that blocks tubal function, is what caused the infertility. Gaudium IVF Centre analysed the case in detail and Recurrent Implantation Failure (RIF) was determined. Along with the factors of RIF, the case was complicated due to existing medical condition of the mother as she was a diabetic and hypertensive patient. The team of experts under the guidance of ace IVF specialist Dr Manika Khanna handled the case with balanced protocols to deal with both the RIF factors as well as the medical condition of the patient, leading to a successful IVF cycle.
